THE TROUBLE IS...

that I work from home.  Normally this is great, some days I am at home and some days I have appointments and meetings to go to.
But on snow days I still have to work, from home, just as normal.
I cancelled my appointments this morning, as I didn't want to drive, but still had to do other work.  So no day off for me!
Boring!!

The girls are not too happy with this weather.  This was them yesterday with snow settling on theirr feathers -poor thingsI was quite surprised to find 3 eggs this morning.

Awww. They look very pretty against the snow! I really wish we had space for chickens or ducks, I love them .

Lizzy...
I have been investigating Mannngtree and I'm completely in love! It seems like a wonderful place to raise children... Do you by chance know how far it is from the University of Essex? I haven't settled on a university yet, I want to be near London and near a Uni and have a nice place to raise my children.... its been tricky! But Manningtree really does seem perfect. I was pricing rentals there as well and there is a nice apartment building in a place called Mistly... is that in Manningtree?

Now about the blog... I had to laugh when you said you were surprised to find 3 eggs, I just imagined to myself that the hens went on egg laying strike as it was much too cold!! You will have to knit them some scarves!

What do you do for a living that you ate blessed enough to be able to work from home!? How cool! Working from home would make my life such easier raising kids as well!!
